This painting extends beyond the canvas exploring what is possible with a blank canvas. The epoxy strong but also fragile in the wrong situation. It will hold if the painting is on a wall but please be aware if someone was to handle that part of the painting and or pull on it there would most likely be damage and it would potentially break off. I would suggest it being behind glass or framed if it's going to be at risk of being touched. 

Multi layer painting exploring mat and gloss finishes with abstraction over text and forms. This painting endeavors to capture a feeling apposed to depicting something. The textures and colours and both hyper real and also reminiscent of street style artwork and youthfulness. The vibrant peace can stand alone or with a collection in both modern contemporary homes and classic architecture.

About the artist: Matthew is influenced by his relationship with God and upbringing and experiences. Matthew is driven to create art that complements homes, family life and the visual experience and joy of being in a space with compelling art. There is also an aspect of his art that is purely creative and doesn't chase meaning rather visual experience, beauty, texture, colours and feeling. He plays with shadows to give depth and dimension to artwork and is known for layering paintings giving views multiple directions and experiences when viewing a painting.
